Account Manager FR/ALL/EN (H/F/X)

In order to maintain and develop the existing customer portfolio, our client is looking for an Account Manager.

Function

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with existing customers, as well as prospecting for new business opportunities in your territory.

Your territory is made up of Austria and the German-speaking part of Switzerland.

Here is a non-exhaustive list of your tasks:

  • You will proactively manage your customer portfolio, ensuring their continued satisfaction with an impeccable service;
  • You develop new opportunities by prospecting and organising relevant meetings and demonstrations;
  • You optimise your travel to maximise the effectiveness of your sales actions and capture new opportunities;
  • You carry out quality follow-up after each visit, sharing key information with the team;
  • You actively participate in trade fairs in your territories, contributing to the company's visibility and growth;
  • You will manage the entire sales process, from database management to after-sales follow-up, building strong and lasting relationships with your customers.

This job requires a regular presence in the field and frequent travel (50% office, 50% travel). You'll have the freedom to organise your schedule to optimise your customer meetings. If you're a proactive person with real commercial flair, apply now!

Your Profile

  • You have a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree (Sales Management, Foreign Trade, Communication, Marketing or Translation);
  • You have the necessary command of German (B2 level minimum) and English to enable you to conduct routine and professional conversations with ease;
  • Hunter and perseverant, you are motivated by cold prospecting to acquire new customers;
  • You enjoy travelling and are enthusiastic about the idea of spending 50% of your time on the road;
  • You have excellent communication skills, which help you to sell products and inform your customers clearly;
  • You are proactive, a good team player and willing to learn new skills;
  • You are organised, autonomous and rigorous in your work.
  • You have an interest in the biotechnology sector and are able to understand basic scientific concepts.
