QHSE Manager (M/F)

As the QHSE Manager, you are responsible and ensure that locally customers are receiving products matching all properties promised by the company. In case of deviations you will, with your team and colleagues, drive investigations and countermeasures to return to set standards. You will ensure the company is legally compliant for all safety and environment related aspects. You will lead and drive peoples mindset & competences to enable the organization towards Zero Lost Time Accidents and Zero Environmental Incidents.You aim to trigger continuously for the improvements of behaviour, mindset, processes and product and share the gained knowledge with the relevant stakeholders.

Close cooperation and communication with different departments, sales, marketing, other plants and customers is a precondition for the success in this role.


Your tasks include, among others :

1) Safety - Mindset : Zero Accidents

  • Ensure legal compliance for all safety topics
  • Manage schedules of consulting companies and completion of recommendation
  • Manage the preparation and execution of Safety audits
  • Respect, follow and implement safety policies OGGs
  • Drive the process of risk assessments
  • Ensure complete and timely reporting

2) Quality - Mindset: Zero complains

  • Ensure that the company meets the customer's requirements by setting up an appropriate quality control plan and the necessary statistics, with the help of the quality control department.
  • Ensure customer centric and efficient communication for complains or customers request
  • Align and calibrate team and colleagues towards strategic quality targets
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the quality management system through audits and key performance indicators;
  • Propose new methods, innovative processes to improve efficiency and work on specific projects

3) Environment - Mindset: Zero Environmental incidents

  • Ensure legal compliance for all environmental topics, permits and contacts to local authorities
  • Respect, follow and implement environmental policies
  • Drive ISO14001 certification
  • Ensure continuous improvement for for all environment related topics in the plant
  • Ensure complete and timely reporting

You will manage a team of specialists and will work and communicate closely with internal stakeholder. You will also represent the company to customers and external organisations during audits and technical discussions.

You profile

  • You have an engineering degree
  • You are graduated as a Safety advisor level II
  • You have a good knowledge of ISO 9001 ; 45001 ; 14001
  • You demonstrate an experience of 10 years in a similar managerial position
  • Experience in Manufacturing environment is mandatory
  • You are fluent in french and english (min B2)
  • Team player, you also have a good leadership
  • You are solution oriented and demonstrate strong organizational & planning skills
  • You have a change management experience
  • You are customer and shopfloor oriented
